2014 “Best Places to Work” Call for Nominations

Other companies may offer competitive products and services, but when you are a great place to work, you weaken your competition. As a technology business we know that great technology solutions start with great People. We know that organizations like Avatel that build trust and create a rewarding cycle of personal contribution and appreciation, create workplace cultures that deliver outstanding business performance.

Every Avatel team member takes on a level of responsibility that constantly pushes us to be better, to learn more, to grow and to help take the company to the next level. Our work culture is something that’s truly special, and we believe it is one of the reasons that our Avatel Team Members have nominated Avatel as a “Best Place to Work” for 7 years.

2014 Best Place to work call for nominations

The Tampa Bay Business Journal is seeking 2014 “Best Places to Work” nominees; however, I want to make a request to our Avatel team members and other friends of Avatel to resist the urge to nominate Avatel for the 2014 “Best Places to Work” Award this year.

Of course, we were very excited to receive the prestigious designation as a 1st place winner last year and the recognition as a finalist each year since 2006, but it is our ongoing employee satisfaction that really means the most to us. Avatel knows from experience that the “Best Places to Work” competition presents a great opportunity to learn what your employees are really thinking, and provides you with valuable information you can use to improve your workplace environment.

To support other businesses that are on the path to increasing employee engagement and productivity, Avatel plans to nominate other local companies to participate in the annual event. By setting the example as a multiple year winner of the Business Journal’s “Best Place to Work” Award, we spread the good news that any company anywhere can follow in our footsteps. Avatel’s mission is to become a beacon of hope in what is too often a sea of workplace mediocrity.

Although, we will not be participating in the TBBJ “Best Places to Work” 2014 event, we are planning something very special for all Avatel team members in April. Stay tuned for announcement.
